There are probably 4 under the green and blue blue ones too. I just cut the dowels to the height of the cake they are going into and push them into the bottom cake, add some buttercream to use as a "glue"Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08566428337028823760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445465151330253579.post-40072165976014053292011-11-12T01:38:00.831-05:002011-11-12T01:38:00.831-05:00Sorry Rachel and the Doula is the same person!Sorry Rachel and the Doula is the same person!Rachel Clinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220299822596568718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445465151330253579.post-21258316708956571482011-11-12T01:37:33.994-05:002011-11-12T01:37:33.994-05:00Doing this cake today, I don't understand in w...Doing this cake today, I don't understand in what way you used the dowel rods can you explain in more details, how big (diameter) there were and exactly how you located them pleaseRachel Clinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220299822596568718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445465151330253579.post-47676695883642975972011-11-08T10:40:06.748-05:002011-11-08T10:40:06.748-05:00I'm sorry I don't remember how much fondan...I'm sorry I don't remember how much fondant I used.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08566428337028823760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445465151330253579.post-73068913579263585322011-11-06T12:11:48.263-05:002011-11-06T12:11:48.263-05:00How much icing/fondant in weight did you need of e...How much icing/fondant in weight did you need of each colour, I am just about to order mine on line and want to make sure I get enoughmother Nurture Doulashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03608557375759224664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6445465151330253579.post-44473959862652597442011-05-24T09:57:34.332-04:002011-05-24T09:57:34.332-04:00I typically use Wilton for covering cakes because ...I typically use Wilton for covering cakes because it is readily available in my area (and cheap with a 40% off Michaels coupon). I have ordered Satin Ice in colors and it was easy to use as well (but shipping just makes it too expensive).
